One of the things I will do when I am in North Carolina in April is get some chocolate-glazed Krispy Kremes.
Another thing I will do is go to Bojangles.
A third thing I will do is drink Cheerwine.
None of these are remotely healthy and I am perfectly okay with that.
:O Whatever cheerwine is sounds amazing.
It’s a cherry soda, made in NC, that I haven’t seen outside the southeastern US. I love it. The closest I can get here is when I find somewhere that sells cherry Dr. Pepper, but that’s still not the same!
The hell is bojangles?
Fast food fried chicken. It holds a special place in my heart.
Give me Popeyes or give me death.
Ehh, we had Popeyes back in Jackson and it was better than KFC, but it was no Bojangles.
I dunno if I’ve just been unlucky or what but the Popeyes here is about the absolute worst excuse for a fast food chain, not even limited to fried chicken. Dry as fuck chicken and they actually charge you extra for a packet of sauce to put on it? Also apparently “aioli” by them is just plainass mustard, that’s cool
Then again I’m not a HUGE fan of Bojangles but sometimes a wing meal really hits the spot and of course their biscuits are bitchin’
BUT CHEERWINE THO LET’S TALK ABOUT CHEERWINE oh my god
Cheerwine on its own is a little too sweet for me (unless you can find somewhere serving it from a fountain in which case HOORAY IT’S THE BEST) but omfg the Cheerwine sherbet and Cheerwine creamsicles you can get at Food Lion are amazing, and making Cheerwine floats with vanilla ice cream is just the best thing (basically the only reason I want to go to Cook Out besides shakes)

Cheerwine is the best and we seriously just had Bojangles for dinner because we’re fat kids.
